Hey all you SHITheads out there, welcome back to another episode of the SHIT podcast. This is episode 108 of the SHIT podcast. We’re a day late but that’s because patch 4.2 dropped on Tuesday and we wanted to give you our day 1 impressions of it. We had a fun time on Twitch hearing what people were up to in the patch. In case you didn’t know we do this podcast live each week at 6:30pm PST at www.twitch.tv/shehealsitank. The more the merrier we’d love to see you live.
In the Greenleaf Minute this week we are going over the new tomestones and where to turn in your old verity tomes for creation tomes.
The news this week we talk about the next Valentione’s Day that will be coming soon. If you’ve missed out on past Valentione’s Day events you’ll be able to buy some pieces they added to the mogstation. And they’ve updated the housing policy with new wards being added next week.
Our main discussion is about what we did on day 1 of the patch. Pete took the day off and streamed for 8 hours. You can go visit our Twitch page to see the videos of that. What we were able to do together was Omega Sigmascape and boy was it fun. Well, 3/4ths of it anyways, one was pretty forgettable. We also talk about some quality of life adjustments. The new inventory UI can be argued that it’s not much of a increase in quality of life. The chocobo saddles are a bit lacking but have a purpose and are a good start. And we can finally change the size of dialog boxes and they will save even when we log out. Avi does a real in depth review of the new glamour system that is both good and leaves a lot to be desired.
The community roundup this week is for a couple of website that I use often during new patches to either find out how to get certain items or to figure out melds. Check out www.garlandtools.org and ffxiv.ariyala.com
We hope you enjoy the show, we enjoyed making it. As always, we love to hear from you. Tweet us @shehealsitank or email us firstname.lastname@example.org We hope you have a great week playing FFXIV and a great week in real life. Cheers!
